Interactive Web Solutions Non-Profit Content Management System (CMS) website application allows efficient dissemination of information

Pasadena, CA – April 2, 2008 – In the coming weeks, Interactive Web Solutions, a premier website Content Management System (CMS) and eCommerce solution provider will launch a new website for Hillsides, a children’s charity center located in this city.

Designed to be user-friendly and utilizing IWS Framework Non-Profit Content Management System (CMS) website application, Hillsides’ website was developed to inform the community of the agency’s advocacy program, share the good works of Children Stand for Children, and provide information about the organization’s child advocacy opportunities.

One of the more significant features of Hillsides’ website is the Kids’ page which features drawings and poems written by Hillsides’ children and encourages creativity and restores self-confidence. In addition, the website will serve as a destination for news and events happening in Hillsides.

Hillsides is a private, nonprofit foster care and treatment center for children, and is considered an official institution of the Los Angeles Diocese of the Episcopal Church. http://www.hillsides.org

Established in 1913 as an Episcopal Orphanage, The Church Home for Children, Hillsides has never wavered from its commitment to creating a safe place for children and now works to end the cycle of child abuse that destroys children and tears families apart.  Loving care, therapeutic healing, special education, family crisis intervention and children’s rights advocacy are at the heart of the agency’s mission.

Hillsides was the recipient of the “Harry Sheldon Community Service Award” from the City of Pasadena, and honored by the Los Angeles Times with its “Community Partnership Award” in the categories of Social Service and Volunteers Distinction.  The Child Welfare League of America has also honored Hillsides for its work in the local community.
